Only so much fluid can fit down the hole that's drilled to oil c3. With the amount of fluid slung at the cover there is no need for a lip as the fluid ends up where it needs to be regardless. I've yet to see a set of c3's look better from using the lipped covers as opposed to not.

When Mike Built My trans he basically said the same thing and I thought he was crazy at first but of course I'm going to believe him.

Ooo those are pretty. If I didn't have the c3 oiler ones from Dave already I'd definitely get me some of those to go with my limitless trans...just need a limitless converter now. Good to know on the lip though, that will info will be handy to know in the future
