If 650rwhp is made with an LBZ, will the stock flex plate hold up or should I upgrade?

Its hit and miss on that. Some have been fine running a stock flywheel and some have not with alot more power. I'm still running a stock flywheel in my truck.

Ill be running that hp if not more and a stock flex plate. Mine still looks like brand new at 500-550hp and 36k

I ran a stock flex plate all last year in the low 10's high 9's , it was still perfect when i pulled it out , I have ran across many cracked and a few broken , HP didnt seem to be the common denominator though , so i guess its any ones guess , I wouldnt run the billet unless you have to , I personally like that the stock piece has some flex to it , it could save some shock load on other parts.

Thanks all for all the reply's. The information we share is priceless!
Thank You too Mike L.
I have a factory GM Sevice Manual and will follow it to the tee. I had to remove my flywheel so I could get into my oil pan off and am now reinstalling
