Higher pressures shorten injector life. Your Pw won't be hurting your injector life. So a tune with the same Pw bit one with say 160mpa would last longer than the same with 190mpa. Contaminants in the fuel are abrasive so the higher pressures will damage the ball/seat areas quicker.

ok so the question remains, will this shorten injector life?

imop, its not the pw its self that kills the injectors. its a multitude of factors like your driving style, rail pressure, how good of a rebuild was done on the injectors you have, and how good the fuel is you run.

For the most part of our driving the Pw is under 600. This would be cruising. In stop and go traffic for the most part we are under 1400 Pw. Pressures will see under stop and go traffic mostly under 20 k. So the chances pressures will hurt injectors really is greater than the Pw hurting them. I really don't believe any us us have the right answer though.

You are running a mild max effort tune lol

I'm all ears on something more aggressive?

I have a rail pressure gauge, for the most part it's in the teens city/hwy cruising.

Fuel wise, I'm pretty consistent with lubricity additive.

I guess I'll chalk it up to one bad injector & address it.
