Engine is staying stock as in turbo and fuel system stock?
Or will it get a s366 or something else to help it besides spray?

I think it would be cool to run it fairly stock and start adding things one at a time. Keep the saga going long term. I know there would be a lot of interest every time a new goodie was added and reading the results.:thumb::D

Nope, stock fuel system and turbo with just nitrous. The only thing it will get for now is a lift pump unless some generous benefactor wants to donate to the cause...

We went and looked at a truck we may buy as a rolling chassis. Here are a few pics.

That's awesome man. What was in the truck and what was he running before?
Right now it has a big block (no idea of displacement) and a glide. He never got it out to the track. He's selling it because he moved and he doesn't have room for it at his new house.

I am completely ignorant when it comes to 4 links and narrowed rears, but are those size bars/suspension going to handle a Dmax torque? They seems kind of small for the task.

Very cool project, Josh.

That is going to be KEWL Josh!:thumb: My first truck was a LUV, but it was a 4x4. LUVed that little truck. Would like to have another one some day.

Well, it looks like we're going to be going another direction with this thing. Rather than buy a truck and swap a motor into it, we're going to leave the motor in the van and see if we can get it to run fast enough to race in the Super Diesel class. This will let us get racing much sooner, and we can take our time figuring out what we want to do with it after the season is over. Besides that, I think an 11 second van will be pretty awesome.
