Friday night July 15th we're having the 3rd annual Clinton County Diesel Truck pull. 2.5, 2.6 and 3.0. I will post payouts and rules later on in the week. This will be a pre-register event. Just to get your name on the list to reserve a spot. Last year we ran 66 trucks in 3.5 hours. So we're thinking closer to 80-90 trucks hopefully. I'll let you know more details as soon as I get the rest of the sponsors nailed down.

Correct. 3.0 can be open and 2.5 and 2.6 are 1 ton or less factory chassis. Should've specified. Still have some spots open.

Without licensing it?

I suppose if the truck were already licensed & insured & u stopped paying to license it, the INS would be none the wiser & as such, you could keep the INS on it.

IDK, just seems unusual to req it on dedicated pullers. They're suppose to have event INS to protect the parties involved in any accident on the grounds during the event. Or so I thought??

Yeah, it does seem unusual, but ive seen a few pulls like that lately, and yes, i carry comp without licensing it, i even change ins. companys and they didnt have a problem with it.

You don't need to license It to get insurance. Just call with the vin.

When I first bought the puller I put a temp tag on it and insurance and drove it to a few pulls that summer. Then started the build process and it has never seen either since. I still have the luxury to do that if needed since it has a clear title. Some pullers can't.

That said, the rules look like the same as fleeces last pull and I said the same thing about the insurance and tags for 3.0. You want a good 3.0 class ditch the rule. And if you check 2.6 you'll DQ 3/4 of that class.:D

Do you have to have an air shutoff (guillotine) in 2.5 and 2.6?
Is smoke allowed in 2.5? (Our workstock organizers sometimes say "smoke shows it isnt stock".)

Can you run more than one class with the same truck?

Do you have to have an air shutoff (guillotine) in 2.5 and 2.6? Not in 2.5 but recommended in 2.6
Is smoke allowed in 2.5? (Our workstock organizers sometimes say "smoke shows it isnt stock".)Smoke is allowed
Can you run more than one class with the same truck? Yes you can run 2 classes if you're signed up to run 2 classes

These are fleeces Rules. IF you meet BOB, COTPC or ITPA then you'll be ok.
