Rob it sounds like the injectors were a good investment. Are you happy with the driveabilty with the injectors? Have you had a chance to see how your feel mileage was affected? I am curious what type of numbers your truck puts down with the current setup, if you dont want to post can you PM me the numbers? Also so far with your experience with injectors would you recomend them? Is this all on a stock cp3 as well?

They can be but it really makes no difference. Your talking about such a small area that more holes is too close no matter what.

This just sounds expensive, but what about 2 or more inectors per cylinder.??

I know the cost and machining would be astronomically high, not too mention controlling 16 seperate injectors and who knows how many injection cycles, but in theory this would be an excellent way to get lots of atomized fuel into the cylinder quickly. Yes or no??

Dyno #'s were 20+ HP improvement. Track #'s were better.

I had a 30mph headwind today, so they limited the racing to 1/8 mile. I ran mid 7.5's(7.54, 7.56, 7.57 @ 91.5-91.9mph(low to mid 1.7 60' times). This is an average of 2 mph gain in the 1/8 mile from anything I've run before. Without the headwind, not sure where it would of been.

Not sure what 1/4 miles times would of been, but I've been running mid 7.6's in the 1/8 @ 89 and running 12.0's

Rail pressure stayed in the 25,000+ range.

Good day, Cut a .000 light, won my class, than lost in the finals when all the class winners raced for the track champion. Looks like the weather will improve for more test results next week.

Congrats on the win! With a 30mph I'm sure it slowed ya down a bit. Looks like the injectors are working great.

I'm happy with the driveability. No fuel mileage tests yet. Yes, I'm still running one totally stock CP3 and regulator.

Awesome Rob!

I'm excited for your results and the rail pressure has been my personal biggest question with these new injectors. Holding that rail pressure is great news. I'll be in touch with you next week. My guy just got my motor out tonight - so tomorrow and tuesday is teardown day to find out exactly what i'll be needing.... but it sounds like this injector setup is definitely something i'll be wanting for the new setup!

I'll give you a call this week to learn / hear more of your results... the racing starts wednesday if i remember?

Thanks!

There is no way they would fit imo:)

I told you guys... :joker:

Pat's himself on the back.

We're dynoing Jerrod's truck tomorrow evening in hopes of breaking 700hp on a stock motor fuel only... We'll see what happens..

Good luck, should be obtainable with dual pumps. I hit 668HP with a single stock pump and smaller sticks last week.

Well Brayden and Rob I hope you both keep us up to date on dyno and track times. Both these setups sound amazing, and you guys are making my decision in turbo selection impossible. With that said keep up the hard work.

Twins are the way to go if you don't have to worry about pulling rules.. I want to do them on my truck this winter with a cheetah..

As for output we did 730.72 and 1173.98 on a 2.8" Cheetah.

Nice numbers Rob. Very good for a single pump!

I'll let Rob tell you the details but he ran 11.8xx today at Firebird, his 60 wasn't great, 1.7 and feels the truck can do 11.7 easy. Pretty darn good for no more than he as done to his truck. Still running a stock CP3.

to a point and it depends how they are cut. the injectors i have one cp3 will not hold fuel for the whole run.

But your injectors are not the same as George's so you realy cannot comment on them.
Don't know if you remember but George is the guy that straightened out your truck at Suncoast last Feb when it would not run right. :cool2:

well i was just saying all injectors are different not knocking his injectors at all. george was in the truck when my dad fix the truck which i was not there i was home working. the ppe tunner was throwing a fuel spike in the fueling because there was not vvt on the truck. change to a efi tune that came off my laptop and it fix the problem. seems to me it was the top dmax there 722 at 42 pounds of boost which it was running over 65 pounds of boost on the street so it has some more power on the street. that was on fuel and a mcrat tune that was not made for bigger injector. all throttle and no bottle

I was right there. George was not just sitting in the truck and neither was Brayden just sitting in the truck, they worked their tails off to get the truck running for the dyno. We were supposed to be at Joan Webb's house eating dinner but we didn't get there till 11:00 pm when your truck was done. I would give some credit there.
As far as George's injectors; you should not have an opinion at all unless you have had experience with them.

Since Rob's busy....... I dont want to bug him with his racing this week, but I want to get a set of these tips... If george is the one that did them, can anyone give me his # or email? I'd like to speak to him for my build....
