I don't really care what cooler you guys use. I didn't put my kit together to make a living off of it. PPE sells a lot of them and try and take credit for the kit. I don't give a shit.
Just don't try and compare my product to Chinese crap. If the BD cooler was any good, it wouldn't need a fan. Buy one and pull the fan off and tell me how you like it.

My point here is; I only use the best and don't care what it costs. I realize you guys don't have the money for the good stuff after you put your overpriced wheels and tires on. All the other fu fu crap you guys have to buy. Rock on.:D

Haha love the fu fu crap comment. This isn't a bash but the people that will drop 4k in wheels and tires then another 2k on a lift yet you see them in limp mode every time they put the pedal down make me scratch my head until it's raw. That's just me thinking out loud though

My stock one works great fwiw. I have never had a problem with trans temps. I have never ran a super loose converter but have run a precision ml, DPC 2200 stall, 1057, and now a 1054. If you guys are having a real problem with temps, maybe there is something wrong

Anyone check out the oil coolers from CxRacing?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/160578859562

If it works.........

What do you do for a living if you don't mind me asking? I wonder why you would promote foreign products ?

The cooler is cheap because it isn't designed for your vehicle.Correct me if I'm wrong here, The fittings will not work on the cooler to connect the OEM lines to it nor will you find a adapter. In addition you will have to manufacture up a mount. So by the time your done hacking up your vehicle to mickey mouse the install it will be worth the savings.

If you go with the MikeL cooler it will be close to OEM in looks and install ,you decide!

Just like building a trans or having one built. Spend the money on the best available so you only have to do it once..If some of you guys don't know what a setrab cooler is do some reading. Same coolers nascar cup cars run. That should tell you something rite there.

I see you like Germany stuff, that is foreign the last time i checked, but it don't matter. I am not trying to be a a$$ here but if something else can be had that work, lasts and save you money so you can do more stuff to the truck, I am all for it. It is like the saying as Champagne Plan on a Beer Budget. There are plenty of guys out there that do Street cars/trucks with the "Chinese Junk" and it works and lasts, not for every, but nether does the good stuff.

If I had only wrote recommending Communist country parts then you would of had no argument. Correct there is a owned German car in my sig and there was a Isuzu engine in my truck my point was a the item you brought to the table as a CHEAP alternative isn't so cheap if you really think about it once you try and install it.

We don't even know if this is made in China, nonetheless

What would you use for fittings to connect to your OEM lines? Also mounting brackets? The point is the MileL cooler is near close to plug and play when you replace your OEM cooler.

I just hate to purchase "China" goods when USA items are available . Specially when this item in particular the Setrab is superior in fit and finish and perhaps function!

I don't have OEM lines, but the fitting that is threaded into the OEM cooler will come out and can be used again, then a adaptor from the pipe thread of the OEM cooler to the compression fitting on the cooler I posted or depending on the cooler, to thread right into it.

Even if the Chinese one was good I wouldnt by it because I dont support communism.

Fwiw I have seen one of the mike L coolers installed and it looks and fits amazing, after seeing it its literally a no-brainer that's what I would go with.

Ok so I see I'm going to be getting the ppe tranny cooler, I when I went on their website I couldn't buy them direct, can anyone get them cheaper? Google kinda directed me to ebay.... Idk if that's a good or bad thing but... I'm assuming ppe is all the same, or is there a difference, I see that there's 2 different ones? Looks like a aluminum none painted rectangle... And then a big black square... What's the difference? Or do I run 2 of them... We do tow, and fast at that... And while were on this subject what would a safe operating temp of a 08 gmc 2500 crew cab? Thanks for any advice :thumb:

Go find the cheapest place with no support. Sometimes paying a little bit extra but having someone who knows what they're talking about and selling on the other end is with it. The ppe cooler is mike l's. His number is in his signature.
