I have had great luck with BFG A/T or Super Swamper STS just depend on the track. The STS are very soft compound and dont last on the street.

i do use my pulling tires on the street

Well with that said, the super swamper sts won't be a good idea only because of cost and as said above they do not last on the street. I would say BFG AT's or a cheaper/softer alternative would be a Pro-Comp AT.

I cannot answer your question about the mtr's but I do know that alot of the times you do not want a "aggressive" tread, which is why you see alot of weekend warriors running AT's

I have never seen any mud tire work well pulling. I did use Goodyear Wangler Silent Armour ATs and really liked them for a street driven pulling tire.

The BFG AT work really well as said above.

Mastercraft Couser CTs also seem to work well. http://www.mastercrafttires.com/htm...page=mastercraft_tires_light_truck_courser_CT

A mud tire that is about completely worn out or just a very little trend left will do alright. If you have some of them lying around i would try them first.

It seems as though with a BFG at you'll be right 80% of the time. That is what I'm going to run this year as a driving/pulling tire. Around here the sts work good but should only see track use my 2 cents
