Nitrous

Ask Tony if he backs the timing down on a big twin setup? You will see a increase in egt's. What ever the timing is with that "set" of injectors will not change when adding nitrous.

All I know is that I talked with Tony and he said the nitrous shouldn't be a problem. I don't know much about it thats why I asked. In reality I'm just a 15 year old fast and furious fan boy at heart and want to purge Nawzz:spit:

I talked to Tony last night and he basically said that the large injectors I have meant he was able to pull the timing back. Going to try and start small and see how she likes it.

Also ordered a bottle pressure gauge and a purge kit to get it more reliable.

Get yourself a bottle heater also. Pressure needs to be around 1100 for it to be the most effective.

I'm ready to buy a kit for my truck. I just cant let the wife find out. She thinks nitrous = blown motor (again).

:roflmao: Everyone hears nitrous and thinks blown motor. I'm just too curious not to give it a whirl. Are the bottle heaters weather resistant? The bottle will live in the bed uncovered. I was just thinking about hitting it with a torch to heat it up.

Ummmm, most tracks will frown highly upon that practice. You'd be better off to use the exhaust for heat. Most bottle heaters can be removed, so you could just wrap it on there at the track and take it off for driving around.

Nitrous doesnt blow motors, it just finds weak links lol

I hope there aren't any.
