Not a big fan of purple stuff but the ATS 5 STAR I had in my truck locked around 1850 and locked good. Too tight for my liking but I had no issues with it.

George had suncoast make a converter similar to the characteristics of the 1057 about a year ago..maybe more...and it has worked well for him. It's not for everyone...but I'd sure like to try one finally to compare for myself

He's got an iPhone (i think) and Kat was I think getting him to text but since she is the www, he may only have been texting her to keep from the wrath of the broom

Is there a way to make a simpler lockup switch? something where you actually switch it on and off? I don't care about automatic stuff I just want a switch that when flicked locks the converter. Almost like a transbrake button.

IIRC ben had this option. I thoug many of the guys I pulled with had a simple switch. Now they all went to dropboxes and slipper clutches though.

x2 many have thought they could beat the system but failed.

on another note do you text old guy? I called n left you a vmail, but just tried texting you. Not sure if you moved into that era yet.

It HAS been beat by somebody(at least for a 6 speed) who did some custom work for EFILIVE, just waiting for them to implement the changes to expand the needed table. And I'm REALLY happy with my PI ML low 1800 stall. I don't know if it is the standard ML or not, I just know it showed up with 1800 on the box and that is about as high as it will stall to(can give it more throttle, but it just builds boost and blows through the brakes).

Hmm so far so good for my flex plate.

X2 Flexplate looks new on mine. 110 000 miles with an ATS.
Probly be still going if the donkeys that did the install new what a torque wrench and loctite was. Only rattled in neutral or park never in gear either.

Lock up switch on a 12 valve is different than an Allison. Allison's need a PWM control or the solenoid will burn up.
