I make about 1000ft lbs and that's way up top. Hopefully my rods have a few years left in them.

I think my lack of traction when the charger hits has a lot to do with reducing the stress on my roddys

In 4wd however I'm pretty sure they each file very detailed complaint reports lol

So is it higher timing in the lower rpm range that gives the rod bending torque?

Basically just torque @low rpm regardless of how you make it. fuel volume, a nitrous shot, a charger spooling, any way you make it still means power@low RPM, or torque.

The rod itself can only handle so much torque before it bends.

700hp@2000RPM is significantly more torque than 700hp@4000RPM.

Yeah x2 if you really care about keeping your motor together

I've told my tuners every time to tune it for disaster and see how long it takes to die :rofl: my dd is hurting pretty bad and my puller isn't doing so good either :thumb: it took a couple 2 3 hooks to hurt my dd but I still drive her every day and tow my puller and my sleds hundreds of miles at a clip without a care in the world but I usually don't care about much
