Got the motor tore down.. 630 hp lly.... Pistons look perfect.. 7 out of 8 rods are short.. Good ole lly rods!

We don't have the rods out.. We looked at piston protrusion to the top of the head.. The tallest piston is about an eighth inch higher than the rest..

And I've got 50hp more than you... Don't be scared. My guess is the tuning he was running was not setup for minimal torque
If it was a Ford or a Dodge the thing probably would'nt even start let alone continue to run. It is amazing how the GM ECM can compensate for these situations and keep em running.
Why would you run that much torque your tuner wasn't all that smart unless you gave him the go ahead to bend your rods
I wanted more!! He held me back to make it to winter... As far as setup I have/had.. Lbz cp3, 60% inj, fleece billet s363, and other things that don't really make alot of extra power but that was the biggins mani/uppipes etc... The build is getting car.. rods, cut pistons, dual cp, and so far a s475 clipped and bottom end machining and what not..
Idk what timing or pulse width or anything to do with tuning.. I say what I want and they get me there.
