Bent axle/hub

Is it possible to straighten a bent axle/hub end on an 11/5" or is the assembly junk?

yes,theres a company in Rockord that claims they can straighten anything,ive seen a guy cut off and weld on a new axel housing on 1 of our heavy duty trucks and it was perfect...........im not saying its cost effective but it can be done.

had a spindle replaced at the shop once, dont remember how much exactly but remember it would have cost less to replace the housing.

Might be cheaper just to buy a housing or complete axle. Thought I saw a couple 11.5's for sale on CompD.

I havent torn it down that far yet. I was just curious if it was possible.

Jason wehrli has an 11.5 AAM axle for sale $500 used.

Yes axle tubes can be straightened, and spindles can be replaced get ahold of DTS in Ionia.
