I bought a case of Guiness while shopping for weekly groceries.
Next I put the groceries away.
Then I called my mother and said good-bye to her, and told her she was best mom anyone could have.
She said I was her favorite child.
She is most likely dying tonight, and I cannot be there.
Now I'm going to finish the beer.

Very sorry to hear. Prayers go out for her.
Thanks. We all knew she was dying, she has a lung disease there is no cure for. I had her down here a few months ago so she could say goodbye to her grandkids and spent some time with her. The rest of the family is with her today, she will not die alone. The doctors have shot her up with morphine, and she is resting comfortably. She was coherent and in good spirits when I talked to her. It's probably just a matter of hours.
