My truck has a 6" Procomp lift. Would a straight center link work on it and does it need braces. Right now the Procomp has two braces to the center link now. Will the two braces work with a straight center link. What is the best tie rod ends available for the set up.

The Pro-Comp already removes the factory centerlink, so you won't be able to us a straight one. And a couple of guys have tried to make Cognito pitman/idler support kit work, but lost a bunch of turning radius. Cognito and Fabtech both make HD tie rods, similar quality and size. Let me know if I can help you with a set, Cognito is on backorder, but I can get Fabtech HD rods readily.

I run cognito HD tie rods they work great. I have NO experience with the fabtech units, I have read people have had issues with them, but I am not sure what the were. My front end stays fairly straight for the most part. I will be going to a Super Diesel center link when I get home. Here is the cognito's they are huge

i have the fabtech units on the truck untill the new ones arrive from alligater performance on tuesday:) i was not impressed with the fabtech parts besides them being BIG. they are made in china, and wear pretty fast on the inner ball sockets

For me, they didnt. But that was when i had a 6" rcd lift on the truck. I took the lift off and and at the same time i put in a straight centerlink with the cognito braces i already had; its the best investment in the steering on our trucks

Do you have anything on the truck right now? I would start out with sleeves and the pitman/idler arm braces and see how you are. That works for Id say 90% of the trucks out there.

I have both in stock if you need em. Have a good one.
