Bed size of the Classic extended cab trucks?

I'm looking for an camper shell and I found one, but the guy says the Extended cab truck beds are a few inches shorter then the crew cab. I swear they only made the 6.5' beds and 8' beds in the 2500s with the classic body style. They guy parts out a lots of trucks and seems to know what he is talking about...

The only 5.9 bed trucks I know of were the 1500 crew cabs. All other short beds were 6.5

Agreed. My 04 extended had a 6.5 and my 05&08 both have 8

A friend at work had a crew 1500 and it was shorter then my 6.5 bed
