BBR working good so far over hear jsut downloaded it to the BB

for those having trouble options.txt not foud when you go to read you need to go in to the Flashscan/AutoCal window / black box settings and go over to the Tune setting tab (F4) check and highlight a unused "caption" then hit the little Gear lookign button at the lower right corner of the window name and select the appropriate ECM controller, hit ok , save ,then program to BB and you should be set

think i got that right.

OK, it DOES work on Wendy (LBZ).

Thoughts/Notes:

A fresh install will NOT have an options.txt loaded in the V2. This is critical, and it won't run without it. You are going to have to have v8 of the software loaded to use this.

If you format a SD card using the V2 handheld, it won't see it and will give you a NOT FOUND error. Just unplug it, and plug it back in and it goes away.

The default OPTIONS.TXT that is created if you just "program" from the V8 software will not read anything, and will only BBL the LB7 and LMM. You need to add LLY and LB7 support.

It appears only the TCM LLY/LB7 Allison is supported right now for BBR trans.

The memory used for an LBZ will be 150K. You don't NEED an SD card at first, but you will shortly.

The file extension for a BBR download is *.CTD . Uh, guys? You know that stands for Cummins Turbo Diesel, right? :D

It doesn't ask you to turn off the ignition for 15 seconds. But it seems to start right up without the wait.

Confirmed. Good news is that if you leave the ignition off for a full 10 minutes you will be able to restart. Do not tamper with anything for that 10 min or the timer starts again.

Paul is looking into the problem reported by Pat. At this stage it looks like it may be a scripting issue in our code. Not a catastrophic problem provided you wait the 10 minutes, but something that does require fixing asap.

Cheers
Cindy

Yeah, I reacted too quickly, since I thought I had fried my ECM, I posted immediately so others did not do the same. In that 10 minute period, you cannot wake the ECM at all.
