I have the smaller version of the model you posted and use it on my ATV's, works great! you don't need much. :thumb:

Check the batteries with a load tester. Could be week. Most good batteries can sit for a month and not have problems. Bet your batteries are getting old and weak. Replace both batteries when you do.

Cold Canada weather can take out batteries quick. :thumb:

The batteries have been tested all good it is that my alarm and all the addons eat power.

Battery tenders are nice but you pay for the name. I have a battery tender and a Schumacher charger/maintainer and both work well. Paid about 1/3 the price for the Schumacher.

ive even used those to jump start the truck... put the tender on for 10-15 minutes then fire it up. those are a must if your vehicle sits for long periods. I use one on my bike too.

bingo. I have one of each as well. a 6/12 battery tender and a 12 schumacher, both for the SLA's I deal with on a routine basis. We also have a small schumacher 5A car charger and an upright schumacher 5/20/50A car charger.

The guy's kid is an umpteen time champion, might as well buy his stuff and support the sport.
