So sadly it seems like a coin toss with batteries. I was looking at XS Power or Oddessy batteries since I am replacing batteries yet again. I am on Duralast now, which replaced interstates, which replaced Die Hard Gold, leading off with AC Delco.
Mine went bad about two weeks ago at work. I have had them for 4 years now. They are a Napa battery. I been looking at the Thermo king eon battery. Have heard of them lasting 8-11 years on train cars. They are 270 a piece but I can get a pretty good discount through work.

I'm in the same boat. My Deka's died right around the 3 year mark. Tried another set, I'll see how long they last. My AC Delco's died around 5 years.
I put remanufactured batteries in mine. $30.99 each. They may last a year they may last 5 years, who knows. I have them in most everything I own.
I have a buddy who does that also, I get your saving money but id draw the line on my 31 donzi center console. He takes it 70 miles offshore regularly and I tell him he is nuts to use those batteries. Haha...
Whats your failure rate in a 12 month period?
Where do you get the reman batteries at? I don't guess I've ever heard of them being sold anywhere.
Southern Battery in Kernersville, N.C. I work full time in a machine shop and my wife and I own a small convenient store, we carry his batteries there and I actually get them at our cost. We sell a lot of them, no telling how many he sells, he has them in several stores as well as his larger battery place in Kernersville.
You ever do any work for Sartin Services or Mattehews Specialty Vehicles up there?
