There's a thread on here somewhere about this. It's a pretty good write up about it. I'll try to find it.
Theres a couple threads over at the Place about it. Guys say turbo noise is greater than stock. Im not too thrilled about a supposed 15hp gain, but Im waiting for someone to do back-to-back testing on one to see for sure.
I will be buying one and run it in my twin setup. Ill be interested to see how it does if it will allow more air flow from the big charger
James, do you know what the install takes? Im sure it would take a turbo shop to install and do a high speed balance correct? Whos going to to this for you?
I have no idea what droping one in takes. SO is this a DIY upgrade? The other thread wasnt the most clear about it
I don't know who it was but they randomly selected 3 wheels and none of them were balanced. I will try find the thread. I'm curious to see gains also
Ive never done one of these specifically But i would imagine that you take the down pipe off and the compressor cover off put a back up socket on the turbine wheel and unbolt the compressor wheel and then put it back together with the new wheel.
