I can't say for sure but I think the Scheid rail may have run a low seven up here a mile high.

When I was there, it didn't get into the 9's.
It's a systemic issue that has nothing to do with Scheid or drag racing.
The "12v Internet Spectator Club" has misrepresented diesel drag racing for so long, that the typical diesel hotrodder can no longer rely on internet for a source of race results:
True or False - A typical ProStreet event has 20 or more entries.
F, if it has ever happened once, it wasn't a published event. The average is perhaps 4 entries.
True or False - ProStreet racing was reduced to 1/8th mile due to safety considerations.
F, the 1/8th move started well before any mention of safety. Only when racers balked at it was safety added as a reason, but they never supplied any data that safety had become a problem. They posted a 1/8th mile only race truck that crashed due to driver error, AND he walked away unhurt.
True or False - The 12v's run the same rules as the Fords and Chevy's.
F, 12v entries often are permitted to ignore written race rules that have eliminated other brands from competition events. Even though many rulebooks are written with 12v entries in mind.
True or False - 12v ProStreet trucks could be driven on the street if they changed tires and put on a plate.
F, perhaps Stuckey's truck could, the most other 12v trucks are essentially drag cars. A max effort 9 sec Duramax is more of a street vehicle than a 11 second 12v is. The changes required to make the 12v put out 700+ HP aren't compatible with street operation.
True or False - The Scheid Dragster runs consistant 7's or quicker.
F, it still has issues with reliability (as do all the max effort 12v racers), it is not Indestructible as was posted by the 12vISC. I've seen it run at least 3 times, and it never ran quick once.
True or False - My truck never ran a 10 sec ET.
F, it has done it many times with thousands watching. This is the latest rumor by the 12vISC, even though the rumor starters have been at the start line watching it run. It's one of the few to put 3 different drivers into the 10's on the same day.

True or False - CompD (the business arm of the 12vISC) has the goal of supporting diesel competition in all it's forms.
F, they are there to turn a fast buck and get free parts. None of the founders were racers, pullers, etc. They support or oppose various race efforts purely based on financial benefit to them. They are into marketing, not racing.
