:D Awsome Job Guys! Looks like in the last pass, it started to skate a lil on the big end!

That Liberty is much smaller and lighter than a Lenco. The 3spd in my signature is a hefty SOB and still 2 more gear sections are needed for 5spd operation. And yes, it would be quite long.

I plan on using the one below in my truck. The Lenco is stronger but just not applicable for Banks rail, IMO

Perhaps they'll comfirm that:D

With the magnesium cases, and titanium shafts and light weight clutches and drums, a Lenco 5-speed would be within 25lbs, and handle 3x the TQ. + there much faster to work on and replace parts if they do break. Also lenco has about half the paracitic drag a liberty does.

Once again guys, the trans didn't fail because of too much power, it failed because the shift lever retaining spring broke off causing the trans to try and go into 4th and 5th gear at the same time.

Well the CS-1 out im my shop is magnesium cased, the shafts are Marage iirc. The CS-1 is there bad@ss super-stout one, it was in our 69 Nova Pro-mod. Even with the mag. cases, shes a heafy beast! Im not positive but the lightweight parts are for CS-2 and CS-3's. Smaller and lighter than ours, but hold less power/torque.

They are really simple, and easy serviced! Good ole planetarys for ya! Kinda like a super simplified, fully manual, auto tranny.

Yup! Pics in my profile/album

Unfortunatly we had to get out of it, we traded the car as a roller for another 69 Nova turn-key, its a low 10's-high 9's.
But we still have our motor! 526ci Arias/Fontana hemi, basically a top alcohol motor;)

Titanium parts in general are 1/3 lighter last I remember. So you are saying the steel part weighs 90lb?

Accually they(steel) weigh about 80 lbs, and the difference comes from material AND metal thickness. Because Titanium IS also stronger than steel, they can build them with less wall thickness.

Thats were the weight reduction comes from.

That much power and no smoke, sweet. Need a larger turbo, more boost, to clear up mine. Stock sucks, but the mfg warranty doesn't.
