Removed the predator tune and the mileage seemed to go up, but it's hard to tell because I was in freeway traffic and mountain driving, so I'll get numbers on the way home Sunday.

Who can I get a single efi live tune from that won't cost $700?

I would call Tony @ Ridgerunner or Mark @ Danville (both supporting vendors -- look in the vendor area for their contact info) and ask them about their tuning. Im pretty sure you'll have to buy an AutoCal in order to upload the tune, which is why the inital tuning seems so costly.



First things first, you should really have a mechanic who knows Dmaxes go over your engine with a Tech2, Solus or other scanner and make sure everything is working as it should be.

Cali is just visual, OBDII check, and visual (subjective) snap test. They don't weight soot output (yet)

If you can do without the truck for a few days, you can send the vendor the ECM and have them flash it and save you a few hundred

So gas mileage went up to 12mpg in stop and go traffic along with climbing up a 5500ft elevation the last leg of the journey.

TheBAC- ridge runner doesn't sell tunes in cali anymore as per there website, I'll lookup the number for mark @danville and call him tomorrow. Now I gotta find a dmax mechanic
