LB7: Bad FICM? Shorted to power?

Okay I screwed up today when swapping an injector and hit the battery terminal which I forgot to disconnect with the intercooler pipe so I had a small spark which I was not that worried about initially. After putting everything back together I have a no start condition.

I have 5000 psi at the rail

Codes are U1800 and U1000

The FICM has a short (I think.) If you touch the case with a grounded test light it lights up. Or if you bump it with a screw driver it sparks. (How I found the problem in the first place.)

The wires to the FICM seem to pinout fine, no power to the ground etc.

Am I right in the assumption that it is toast? Or does it normally have power to the case?

Finally any ideas where I can get one? Do all LB7 FICM's work or just 2001's?

Thanks for the help.

I was pretty sure that power to the case was bad.

Yes all the fuses are good, I forgot to mention that in the initial post.

Thats where my thought process was headed. Has anyone had one rebuilt? Or is my best bet a used one? I would rather not spend 300+ at the moment but I guess carelessness should hurt....

SoCal Diesel can fix them if needed.
