Bad Dyno Numbers

Thought I would put my truck on Dyno this morning - has McRat 105 Tune. The Dyno is Dyno Dynamics, first Digtal Dyno in Australia. sounds good. I didnt have alot of confidence in the operator even with my limited experience with dynos. Maybe some of you could have a look at the sheets and see something. He ran it in 4th. It kept wheelspinning at 2500 and up. Said I need harder tyres. Dyno graph doesnt show Torque only Tractive Effort which he said torque was app 40% less - showed 1400 Tractive Effort which he says means app 900 fbt - I thought it would have a little moe hp than it did. Any ideas?

Spinning the wheels on the dyno will cause lower numbers

Yes, and + dyno dynamics is a notoriously low dyno. Nick D' Amico made 704 on a mustang, and 589 and a dyno dynamics, but the torque is the same. I only made 489 with dual fuelers and a GT40 on that dyno.

Your HP #'s are in line with what I ran on two different Mustang dynos.

I dont feel too bad then. We'll see what it does on the track in 2 weeks - thats more reality I guess - not numbers on paper
