I've been well over 650hp for years but I wouldn't advocate doing it. I'm sure my rods are shortened but the truck keeps going and doesn't show any negative signs. If it breaks ill do a simple build as I'm sure Steve would do as well. Congrats Steve

Yep. When I had 4.56 gears I was running 11.90's at about his rpm's. My valves were floating like CRAZY going through the traps. Stock engine only made it to 49,000 miles.
