Looking to upgrade my axle and locker after my motor build to pull this summer and because my g80 isnt wanting to lock up. Will possibly run dual rear wheels. This truck will be around 900hp by the time i call it quits keep in mind..
Whats everyone running for axle material? 4340? 1541h?
Also, for lockers, what is the cheapest and which spine option? (30 or 38)
My big concern is would a 30 spline 4340 chomemoly be just as fine on this truck or is the 38 spline 4340 worth the extra $$? trying to keep cost down as much as possible. As far as brands go ill be sticking with yukon, dhd, or detroit.
