LB7: Awkward Fuel Sensor?

Every time I fill my tank all the way, I keep having the "Low Fuel" light come on. I'm not sure why. It does it after a few miles once the tank is topped off. The light comes on for 10 seconds then goes away. Usually happens 5-6 times.

Any idea what is causing it? Not sure if there is some sort of sensor? I'm not pulling any codes for it either

I would just hate for it to go out all together on the highway....

Does the gauge stay on E also? Are you filling up with the truck on?

sending units are rediculously common in 99-02 trucks gas or diesel. My 2000 will stay on low fuel after i fillup until i burn through 2-5gallons. I just check the trip mileage and see where im at, if im over 440miles on my gasser, its getting close to fill up.

 I'll give it a try tomorrow....

Where exactly could I find this "sending unit"?
Inside the tank. When you put on the lift pump did you connect the lines at the top of the tank? If so, you may have bumped one of the wires.
