I know this is an old post, but do you remember what you had to do to reverse tensioner?

136" belt. Added a guide just before the cp3 pulley to keep it from jumping a rib at higher rpm's since it's such a long run.

Why not go down from the alternator to the idler left of the power steering and then up to the cp3

oil fill is in the way if Im following you right
IMO move the cp3 to where the ac compressor used to be, it will shorten up that belt, gets rid of the idler to the left of the PS pump & gives better access to PS pump

Why do I keep doing this?

AJ, wouldnt you still leave the idler, as it'll help with wrap around the CP3 pulley and PS pump? Wouldnt it be better to eliminate the idler right next to the tensioner and reroute the belt around the other one to help wrap around the alternator?

Just need to make a new neck. But then the alternator pulley has a lot more contact. And you don't have a belt running across the top.
