My turbo boost gauge wasn't reading accurately (compared to readings I was used to seeing - at highway speeds empty I'd see approx. 10 lbs., then dropped to 5). Then suddenly my pyrometer gauge went below zero, back to what I'd expect to be a normal temp. then it dropped to below zero and stayed there. I sent a note to Autometer and they were good, advised to send them in for evaluation. They called and said they found nothing wrong with either gauge. I just reinstalled them and neither reads anything. What is the likely cause? Could temp probe be defective?
