I bought an autocal for my 07 LBZ from PPEI and I'm getting some codes. I've removed my ABS and radio fuse. I was able to read my stock file and now I can't flash the tunes in. The only thing i noticed was when I was reading my stock tune, it never asked me to approve the ecu license. It's the weekend so Kory is closed but I'd like to resolve this on my own if i can.

First code $0538-
DSP Operating Systems cannot be read. Controller contains a DSP Operating System which can't be read. Once a controller has been upgraded with a DSP2 or DSP5 custom operating system, it cannot be read from the controller.

I re-read the stock file again and $0538 went away and now I'm getting
$0542
E35 *.ctz file is not merged with OS. EFILive only reads calibration data from E35 controllers. Opening and saving the *.ctz file using the EFILive PC software adds the necessary operating system data to the file. If an attempt is made to full-flash the file before the OS data has been added it will fail. Please open and re-save the *.ctz file using the EFILive PC software and then retry the full-flash.

Any help is appreciated

Plug it into your laptop, launch EFIlive explorer and check your configuration files. Make sure they are all there for your ECM. you might be missing something. Make sure you save the tunes from your AutoCal to your desktop before you start moving, deleting or adding files.

Your tunes will be in the data tab, tune folder. Configuration files will be in the configuration tab.
