If I were you I would find a custom audio shop and have them build you a box. It will save you a ton of money and sound much better. Plus you can put a much better sounding cheaper sub in it. JL is way overpriced for what you get. Personal opinion, check out Rockford subs. The new 8's they make are amazing. You might get 4 sealed behind the seat in your Tahoe.

Nice..thanks guys! I'll PM jewell and as for RSE I do have it but no video just the stereo deal and wireless headphones....if I can find someone to build me a custom box that would be great...I live in 29 Palms so unless a shop has built one before or can take measurements I'm SOL haha

Fosgate makes legit woofers, focal make super mice mids and seperates. I almost suggested 4 8"'s as well. You dont get deep bass, but in a hard rock drum solo you'll loose your eyeballs, or start tearing up so bad you cant see! And you can tuck 2 in each rear side panel. X2 get a custom box made. I dont think it will be any cheaper, but you will definitely get a better sound.

A few years back kenwood was making an awesome free air 8 1/2" speaker that would bump in the rear door panel of your tahoe. There is another option- door pods- can be made to hold a woofer sub and seperates in one panel!
