I have heard so may different bolt specs/torque specs it's a wonder half the people doing this stuff don't pop a gasket.

96lbs, 110lbs, IIRC ARP claims 120... factory claims in this order, standard is "in and out", rinse and repeat 3 times....jesus christo.

And now we have new bolts!

Greg Hogue was slated as the jockey for the Banks Type D Dragtruck, but politics got him excluded.

He was also the jockey for the Predator truck when it got into the 8's, IIRC. Nice guy, good driver.

It has just come to our attention that ARP has changed the torque spec's form 96 ft lbs to 125 ft lbs.

Thanks to Eric Merchant :D

uh oh...does this mean When Eric installed the ARP studs last July(?) when doing the head gaskets... that mine might not be torqued right?

Actually most of us have been pulling them to 125ftlbs for over a year now.

ARP main studs any different TQ the instructions say 90lbs is that correct?

Duramax ARP main studs 200-225ftlbs for the center studs and 90ftlbs for the side bolts.
