RAM looks good. It's hard for me to say on the additional storage space. It's really up to you. If you think you would use the extra storage...sure. But you can always add it later too.

Yep, you just won't see much of a difference between the CPU's. I'd stick with the base model on the CPU. If you're doing gaming I would spend more on the GPU. Nothing sucks worse than not having enough power to play games on. If your not playing a lot of games. Don't get the highest end GPU. It wouldn't make sense.

Blu-ray is good.

I use windows 8 on all of my systems. It boot's faster than 7 and I've had no problems with it. But it's up to you.

Stay away from the Killer Wifi cards. They've been having driver issues as of late. Go with the expensive Intel card. They are golden.

I agree with Woodster, the only thing I would say is if you're use to using Windows 7, Windows 8 isn't a upgrade. I don't think MS has nailed the UI and Windows 7 is very well established.

Intel Wireless/Bluetooth card


I left the 2nd hard drive space and both mSATA SSD drives open for now, I'll add to them later when needed.
