I only like the DP because of the good people ive met there and its hard to to let that go.

But the Aholes that run that place are retarded. They need to leave well enough alone.

I really wish they could feel my frustration with that whole mess back in october. They make me out to be some big mean jerk. I'm not a jerk; if I was/am a jerk, I would have sued nick and given him a little more trouble than some snide/smart ass remarks on a stupid internet forum. Jeez.

Im not on the diesel forums enough to keep track of everyone but I hadnt read where anyone had them in a running motor. I always saw where duratothemax referred to his rods as "ebay" or "junk" rods, never saw where he said they were from Nick.

So did Nick stop running them? Seems like info needs to get out there if there is a bad product...

There are a couple new guys over there that have gone power-mad since they got Staff powers. Kinda reminds me of 2006/07, and not in a good way.

Yup. He made 10 sets I think; AFAIK 5 are sitting on peoples shelves, and the other 5 sets got installed in trucks (like mine). None of those 5 trucks are still running with nick's rods. They all either bent or broke the rods and had to be torn down/rebuilt.

Ya'lls admin forum down at the bottom of the page too? Ive always wondered what the mod/admin section looks like on other sites. Im only a mod on performancetrucks.net, but ours has a lot of other BS besides jsut a lounge.


So were the dmaxtuner rods even tested before he released them to the public? 5 out of 5 thrown in the trash doesnt sound very good.

As for the strongest that a matter of opinion. TTS rod's are in the quickest and fastest 1/8 and1/4 mile production style trucks and many of the highest Hp duramax motors out there. They've been out longer than all but one brand and have had no failures to date. They are the only rods that come heat treated and cryo treated with micro finished thrust surfaces right out of the box, others require you to pay extra and do not offer the cryo treatments

PLEASE don't group all of the 6.5 ers together with that POS! He is hated by the 6.5 ers as much as the DMAX guys. He's pretty much just a kiss ass that is too obsessed with himself and tries to pas it off as keeping to the spirit of the way the DP used to be. I only recently joined the DMAX club with my conversion, but he does NOT represent the majority of the 6.5ers.

how much of TTS was orginally TTS inovative stuff? outside the TTS extreme before efi lvie got around.

tts didnt treat you to well either iirc

same person also argure LBZ piston were superior to LB7 piston in strength... because #1 reason was they weighed more.

argued that tts tuneing was almost vastly superior then efi live. but sidesteped any heads up tuneing against an acoplished tuner when ross, paul and cindy steped up to the plate.

And this has what to do with DP mods? Who cares how he treated me 2 years ago, it is over and I am happy now. I just don't get why people drag TTS into shit that has nothing in the world to do with him.

Just making sure. MANY of the 6.5 guys have openly called him a prick(amongst other things), and I still don't know how he got promoted to a mod with all the complaints against him. I think he paid AF to get his status myself, but that's just me. Him and another guy over there are both going to a school to be diesel mechanics and have started developing there own 6.5 products to sell based largely off of technical postings in the 6.5 section. Yet he has gotten away with deleting posts and closing posts down when somebody else even tries to mention where to get other proven products now since his stuff isn't available yet. He's a douche of douche's, but the dp LOVES him.
