It's game time tonight! Got my exhaust housing on and told my manager I have a "doctors" apt this afternoon :D So I'll be down at the track along with my buddies silver 24 valve with a new set of compounds. We're both hoping to have a few 12 second runs. Dunno if I could go all winter with my best time of 15.0

Glad I was able to make it down finally. But it wasn't a good night for both my buddy's truck or my truck. Converter would barely get to 1900rpms and turbos didn't want to light until the last three runs of the night. Ended up with a 13.1@102 spinning all four leaving at 20psi. After the last few runs the transmission overheated and the engine coolant and oil temps weren't too far behind :( Think I need to suck it up and get a new intercooler and torque converter.

My friend's 24 valve sheared his front driveshaft bolts off the first round so he had to run 2wd all night. Ended up with a 16.0@107mph. His truck has potential.

I think you need to downsize them twins

What kind of blasphemy saying is that?!?! I know they're too big for my setup now. But I'll never be done building this truck so it's nice to know I have some more room to grow. The converter is killing me right now with it's 1800 stall. 20 second spool up times probably weren't the best on the engine or the trans :screwy:

On a good note I got to meet another member Ian (spelling?) and watch his truck run I believe a 12.88. Great run man!
