20,000 miles on the direct drop in from ats, now its stuck in first. Took her to a certified ally shop, got a 0778 and trans cell showed poor pressure to C4 apply piston. Tranny was acting terrible for 2 months leading up to finally being stuck in 1st. Not limped, stuck. Tranny would flare every up shift. Feathering to go pedal just delayed the inevitable SLAM. Open to thoughts and questions.

Best advice, if under warranty have it fixed and sell it ASAP. Not under warranty, get a complete stock replacement and have it built by a reputable shop. Use the search button, you are not the only one.

Don't get it you put 20,000 miles of abuse on the transmission it failed and your calling it a POS? Did you expect it to last for-ever abused?

the OP's truck isnt exactly making quad digit numbers, im around 600hp and my $3,000 trans is still ticking after 35,000 miles of abuse. Id be pissed as well.

How is ATS still in business?

I've seen a PPE stage whatever last a month behind a 550 HP LB7.
Kid did burnouts all the time and floored it everywhere it went. Some people just abuse the piss out of their stuff. I'm not knocking PPE just saying

I abuse my stuff. Rolling burnouts, WOT 0-100mph runs daily, etc. trans is doing fine for the most part. And this was a cheap alto clutches, no name TC build.

Let me see if I understand your logic. My ATS stage 2 trans is 5 years old and has 75 k miles roughly. No burnouts not one. Much trailer towing. Good amount of racing at the track. Holding up to 600+ HP. Abuse or no abuse as your implying means mine was built very well?

Have contacted Ats? Not a Ats fan but give them a chance to make it right before you have to torch that purple pos:D

yes i am implying that. Your trans is 5 years old with over 75,000 miles i'd say it has done everything you want it to. However, the OP's trans lasted not even a 3rd of miles yours has and he is running at a lower power level. So you think that is normal? ATS has no fault in the situation? Maybe its just me but if i dropped 5k or 6 k or whatever on a transmission for a stock turbo truck, and it shit the bed in 20k miles, i would burn someones house down.

My ats has been steadily getting worse with the 3-4 shift and has gotten to the point where i can barely stand it now. It also started to shutter during the 5-6 shift now?

Sent at 120mph

By serious abuse ,I mean constant duty. As this truck is a work truck, plow truck, play toy. My stocker went for 100,000 before last refresh. I was hoping to get longevity, instead I'm getting a headache. Usually a warranty like there's would boast confidence, I see its just bait. Not even going to try the warranty road, as I need this chit to last. There's an allison in there somewhere and I'm going to find it. Truck usually lives on a 70hp tow tune

First off I'm no big fan of ATS as perhaps you are aware. I've had my run around BUT:

I understand what your saying but I'm just asking a legit question IMO. By looking at his post and sig I have no idea what level of abuse or power he might be or has ran.

More info would be helpful. Also rolling burn outs are different then converter stall burnouts IMO or what ever you want to call them.

I understand your point of view and I'd be upset as well. Is it strange the OP doesn't want to try for warranty coverage? Seems he is more concerned with bashing a company than using his time on the phone with Clint or Mike Mineke to express his frustration. I will not sit here and say ATS perfect. I try and stick up for them because ive seen their trannys hold up to Newlys 800+ first built motor for three seasons or so. Jeremiah Montgomereys "misery" race truck made 10 second passes all year long last year on an ATS Extreme and only changed fluids for one whole season. Simply put they deserve a fair shake. They don't have the luxury of defending themselves in this matter here on this forum. All we are getting is the OPs side of this story. I garuntee Clint will back up his product.
