Easiest way is to sell the ATS box and buy a lockup box from Ben that works. Someone will buy your ATS box for atleast 500 and thats what you will pay for Bens

Ya i know but its already in the truck and mounted very clean and i really wanna work with what i have. But if no one has the secret wiring then i might just have to do this. Itll take alot of work to pull this all out considering the solenoid and wiring harness in the trans... id have to buy a new tube for the trans that the solenoid is in... pita.. so im gonna wait it out see if someone wants to help a guy out :)

Because they still dont work even when they are setup. If they worked good enough there would be no need for a true lockup box like ben makes:thumb:
Um yea they do. I had mine setup like this for 3 years and worked EVERY single time! IIRC its the blue wire in the copilot harness. Just wire up a switch in between the two wires. On a lb7 like yours it will work.

we have their new race box on our race truck. when its put in race mode it will lock the converter right after you shift into second and on. Works pretty well with new issues. :thumb:

Mine still works pretty good also. Been in the truck since 2006.

Mine always worked just fine.

Can anyone give me a hand in figuring out how to do this? I tried calling ats and the guy could barely tell me how to use the thing.... wasnt impressed.

I can't help you with how to wire it for usage of a switch. I had mine wired up normal I just never had issues with lock up when in race mode. I got rid of it when I rebuilt the trans so I actually need to get a lock up controller when I get the truck back together.

I was unaware you could re wire them to work like a lock up switch. They do not work like bens box from the factory. IIRC they dont even lock till 3rd or 4th gear sometimes.

I think we all thought you wanted a torque converter unlock switch. If your co pilot isn't locking your converter you have other issues. When mine wasn't locking the converter the wire going to the map sensor had broke.
