I can get just the charger for $1000, Its the .85 not sure on the foot print though he said it was a new charger with warranty. I know I would need an hx40 DP and pedistal.. What else would I need to install this as a single? How much are pedistals aanyway, arounnd 700?

I know I would prolly want to run injectors with this but I think I can work out a trade for my copilot. Ohh and would this be any good to use as a twin? I doubt it cause the a/r but figured it wont hurt to ask

a pedistal from RDL is 500. you will need oil drain and supply lines. if it was waste gated then i dont see why it wouldnt work as a twin set up.

Has anyone had trouble spooling this charger with stock injectors and stock cp3? Seems like It woud make sense to get it if I could trade it straight up I think... The guy wants mp8 too so I might even make some money off this trade

Just make sure its the T4 and not a T3. You wont have a problem spooling it on the street.

T4 Pedestal from Rick is a very nice piece.

ATS sells a 4" downpipe for it as well as a v-band hot side intercooler tube.

T3 is way too small for that charger in my book.

An brand new turbo (S472) with T4 would cost less than 1000.

hmm the kid says its new and still under warranty. I tried to call ats and find out how much to switch it to a t4 but they are closed. the thing is that it would be a straight up trade tahts why i want it. If i was gonna spend cash on turbo stuff I think i would wait and get twins but this just came along so its calling my name haha

He said it has a 2.6 cover... Would I still need a 5 inch intake then?

I also found a compound kit for the 7000 on their site, wish they had a kit for the 5000. Might be a tit too small though and deffinately the wrong a/r

Stock injectors and single stock cp3 will be just right with this charger. Also, with dual cp3's and stock injectors you can still run this charger with the t3 and .85 a/r. Just watch the drive pressure with the duals, add a wastegate when/if you add that second pump. Great charger for your current configuration, easy to spool and you will still have room to step it up when you want more.

I liked the hell out of mine, way fun to drive and way less laggy than the gt42r. But, that's another story.

They have a 8000 also. But the 7000 twins with the 4000 or the 5000 kits.


The kit above in that price is everything air cleaner new driver side intercooler pipe pedistall oil lines and drain line gaskets and it also has the vvt delete might be able to call and to get that takin off the kit might save some money since you have efi live. also that kit has the clamps and the rear adapter for the down pipe and also the 4" down pipe and the trans dip stick.

My cp3 is pretty weak on certain tunes so I need a bigger one anyway soon. Anyone guess what kinda power can be had with this charger and stock fuel max effort as long as I hold decent rail pressure?

Back in the day Ryan uptegraft made 600-650 with a5000 & single cp3 iirc

BD makes a t3 ped iirc.

Yea if the intake you got is for the stocker it wont work with the 5000. You will need a intake from this kit or one from Trent.But you will need the rear adapter for the 4" downpipe and you will need the adapter to hook up to the intercool pipe if you dont use there biggier pipe. and also need to get a driver side trans stick. if not there.I can get about all there parts by there selfs and I can get a T3 pedistall.

Yeah I know my buddy made 650 with his but I can't remember if he has injectors or not... I know he had a 85% cp3 and ppe hot+2 tuning. I should ask him if his was a t3 or t4
