I would think the no-start issue would be from the tune, not loading all the way.. I dont remember what fuse it was, maybe the cig. lighter... Like I said just a thought, but then again others said the ecm is possibly done for.

Do you have remote start wired in? If so, you will have a wire tapped into the data link connector at the purple communications pin that will need to be disconnected while flashing. ( just cut the added wired that's t'd in, not the purple wire)

It is common for flashes to not go through on certain modules because of a remote start. It's something easy to look at and try.

And yes, cig lighter fuse should power up pin 16 at doc connector, possibly popped that fuse while trying ( make sure nothing is plugged into cig lighter while trying if that's the case.)

Are you the customer Paul is presently dealing with on this issue? If you are not, please log a support ticket on our help desk.

It is almost impossible to kill an LMM ECM. Are you sure it is dead? If you would like assistance in recovering your ECM, or at least testing it fully, please log a support ticket. Link can be found on our home page www.efilive.com

Yes. Was 100% dead. One of you dealers even tried to save it. I talked to support and tried to get a new vin license but after getting the run around and the BS I said screw it. I should have just stuck with the 7.5 software. Now I am scared to tune another truck cause it cost me 450 for a new one.

I am not familiar with your case, however there is a process to go through to obtain a free license. They are not just handed out because you ask. Trace files are one component of the investigation that must be submitted for our tech support to investigate. It's your choice to determine if it's worth your time to submit those investigative requirements or purchase a new VIN license.

There is no way for us to determine valid claims without adequate information.

I offered to send back the locked ecm along with my v2. Also gave the number to the efi dealer that tried to bench it. Finally I gave up. But I'm over it.
