Have fun in class. Thanks for the CTS-V review. I am getting close to pulling the trigger on a CTS AWD DI I really like the way it drives and 6.3 0-60 for a v6 is not bad. Wish I had enough to get the V

Well we made it, both of us passed licensing. A few had to run more passes ($200 a pop) and a few didn't pass.

But today was more "real". The Super Gas car first broke the carb, then later with me driving, it broke the powerglide right after the finish line. Since Vegas is mostly downhill, I didn't notice it was busted until I tried to give some gas at the end of the return road. They had to swap out the PG, so we just got done a little while ago.

I ran 9.59@139 for a best pass on a 1.3 sixty. Kat ran quicker and faster.

It was a lot of fun, but I'm glad it's over.

Cool, congrats. There is a certain pucker factor. All fun now. I still feel good in the tech line when they ask for my license after seeing 9.xx on the tech card, not sure that feeling of accomplishment will ever go away.

Kat, youre certainly doing more than a lot of old guys (and gals) do. Youre only as old as you think. Glad you had fun.

I cant imagine what 9 sec or 140mph in the 1/4 feels like.
