Thanks! I think so too. Once I get it aligned, the spy's and terragrapplers will make it look so much better.

If you can get ahold of a tech II or V2 check the actual vs. desired vane position, that would be an easy way to check.

That would be too easy! It won't be making a trip to the dealer or tuner for at least a couple weeks. I'm sure it will be a simple fix.

Turbo brake is nasty on the zf trucks. I had one that builds like 10psi of boost on decel. I might still have it on the computer.

You'll have to compromise somewhere with the clutch. Either be happy with 350-400hp and a stock replacement single disc that's really smooth and forgiving or get the street dual disc like above that'll hold whatever a stock engine can throw at it and put up with some grabbyness and noise.

I have the street dual disc. For the abuse it'll hold it's more than tolerable. There's always granny gear and 4lo for getting it rolling and the super technical maneuvering

I replaced the turbo in my cousins LLY RCLB work pickup and it drove just fine even with sticky vanes. If would smoke on a hard acceleration or higher rpms but you wouldn't really notice it unless you looked for it.

When I read the actually vs. desired vane position they were off my +20%.

Sorry my post isn't much help, just wanted to say what I noticed to see if you're getting similar characteristics.

I'm just learning, and hearing your experience will help. It's just nice to know a little something before i get dug into it.

After getting this thing plated and driven some I've found a couple things out.

1. Bushing in the clutch pedal was bad. No big deal. Went to dealer and got one. While I was there the parts guy printed out the trucks RPO list.

2. The truck is listed as 91U Arrival Blue Mettalic. It must be dirty in the pics. Going to buff and polish it.

3. Pulled my LMM to a pull about an hour away. The clutched slipped up 1 hill on the way there and on the return trip home.
