if they have been installed on a motor and were cycled before you don't have to cycle them

All the bolts or studs are the same length mine came with the small bolts near the pushrods as well but if yours didn't come with them you can reuse the old ones

Mine had previously be installed so I didn't cycle them but I did retorque them a few times. After torquing 60-90-125 I let it sit a couple hours then torqued to 125 again and had some turning, on the 3rd time I barely got any turning and only on a couple, the 4th time I checked it to 125 I didn't get any turning.

You can remove it and plug the hole.

Forgive me for my ingorance, But whats the point of head studs? Every bolt will stretch. So why can't I just torque my stock bolts enough for stretching then retorque back to spec??

Or are the stock bolt TTY bolts?

Head studs are made of much better steel than stock head bolts, which allows you to torque them down much tighter.

Pretty widely debated , most guys say big boost ( 90 psi ) requires the better studs , I am going to be using the standard studs still , Bigbird is still using standard studs at 90 PSI , I guess you uhave to decide what $$ you will spend on Insurance, for my truck being race only i can fix a head gasket and not be without transportation so in figured i will upgrade when i see a need .
