money is a issue at this point i dont think twins are in the near future

For God sakes Tommy go sell a kidney or donate plasma than. Theres always a way to make money. Hey you live close to hollywood I am sure you could sell your self on the corner for a week or two, and you will have money in the bank.

On another note Dan have you heard what type of power those LMM's are making with the 4202, and are they using these things as a DD.

Tommy there is that gt42 series turbo up for sale in the garage section. I am not sure if its a goood deal though.

That way you can be 1000rwhp all day long with great driveability and low drive pressure.

Not to step on toes but with a Cheetah and a 4202 you will not be at 1000hp maybe 850 if that. For a 1000hp you would need a GT4094R twined with GT4718R.

In my post I want direclty reffering to the 4202 for the twins setup sorry. I was reffering to Nathans larger chargers he uses in his twin setups. I know the standard charger comes with an 75MM comp wheel that moves 100ft/min, and than the next upgraded charger has an 80MM comp wheel. He has a larger charger than that but I am not sure what the comp wheel size is.

We need Bradyen in here. I tommy i to will be going a differnt route on turbos. I was thinking about getting a 42 and im still debating But if Jrad says it true that a chetta is a little bigger then a 42 or the same size and can flow as much air as the 42 then my turbo will be a chetta

Sorry I think you misunderstood me. I was saying Tommy should use his current cheetah and Nathans larger twin turbo setup which uses a larger turbo than the 4202, or at least I think it does. We will have to get Nathan on here to clarify.

I have a 5000 on the 02 and is not that bad for daily driving but they don't like the bottle. Going to put the s400 on with the squeeze. The video I took in Denver shows a 12.03 not a 12.30 like I thought. Maybe 11's with the s400 and squeeze. (Denver is a mile high in elevation) Pheonix should be 11's.

I have daily driven my truck with an A5k for 25k miles with no issues at all. Its all in the tune in my opinion. Although I have no experience with a GT42. I will be keeping the A5k for my built engine as well. planning for a 24/7 700hp engine.

Pros:
Have no problem towing 8,000 lbs, lower egts than stock, 47psi on stock LLY CP3, similar fuel economy, and from what i've heard it can support 800hp+...oh and the whistles go wooo wooo:D

Cons:
T3 pedestal, slug until 2,200 rpm (could be fixed with cam or head work?), EGTs in 5th towing are questionable (dropping to 4th solves problem)

As long as your not towing A LOT, and dont mind waiting till 2,200 rpm then I would easily recommend an A5k for a high HP DD. I consider it a highway killer more than a city racer.

Some of the S400's are the same size if not bigger than a GT45, although the ETT compressor on the S400's offer a wider, more 'driveable' map (but give up a little peak boost). If you're going to compare, guys really should give you more info than just 'S400'. There's about 9 million different ones to choose from.

So, yes. I think you could daily drive it. You'll need to use the rev range, but you're already a Tap-shift pro :D:joker:

Go BIG or go home.......

There has already been a couple of 4202R's installed on LMM's. No messaging the firewall needed.:D Get the ball bearing/watercooled.

How much power do you want to make is the simple question. We can go bigger then a std 4202R if you want? There is no way a regular 45 or 47 will fit with out some serious mods to the truck (can you says body lift????).

Pardon my LMM ingnorance, but can the pedistall spacer be added on top of the pedistall on LMMs?

S400SX on my truck is 74.7 inducer & 74.0mm exducerwith the Extended Tip Tech and oil cooled only and a 1.10 housing that can be swapped out for rather cheap
should be still in the Map at 700hp:)
