Title says it all. Are the stock Duramax chargers, particularly the LB7 models, on a pedistal that attaches to the manifold or are pedistals just used for upgrading to aftermarket chargers?
Thanks

That's not the only thing I Cut. No sensors left (MAF, Baro) who needs'em. The stock turbo assembly weigh's at least 45 lbs. and look's like a toy compared to the A5K, which should be spinning again fairly soon.you couldnt get those hoses off so you just cut them i see
The diesel shop is open. Let' take it easy and only go with twin turbos and triple CP3'sMaybe both our trucks will be up soon. After this mess I just may build a motor
Well this is not good news. I have mentioned the 2.5" rules around here for pulling. Associated with this inducer limit, there is a "NO adapter plate" rule as well. This part of the rule eliminates us (LB7s) from also upgrading to an aftermarket 2.5" charger. Thats gonna make it tough to keep up with built Cummins' with nice efficient 2.5" chargers. Oh well. Such is life I guess. I was trying.
