I just ordered the Industrial Injection twin kit for my LMM. Do I need head studs or upgraded intercooler? Thanks.

How much boost do you plan to run?
I think your intercooler would be fine, and with the right tuning, stock rods and studs should hold if tuning is kept conservative. No guarantees though-either way you are playing with fire IMO.

Maybe give Ted @ MPL a jingle. He put a set of MPI's on an LMM recently and he may have some info as to how that truck is doing. It kept the stock charger IIRC. Not sure what you have got coming.

I did talk to Ted and he said that truck had some intercooler problems. I guess on the LMM there is some plastic that can give way?

Same intercooler as the lbz and mine is fine. Also before the motor build I was hard on it real hard 40 to 50 psi some blue bottle power and back fires and stock head bolts and head gaskets were fine just a cracked pistonat 31,500 miles.
