I just ordered the Industrial Injection twin kit for my LMM. Do I need head studs or upgraded intercooler? Thanks.

When and if the headgaskets start leaking, upgrade to ARP's, Same with the intercooler, if you end up with leaks upgrade to a spearco, banks or similar. There are plenty of people running twins with stock head bolts and intercooler without any problems, but there are to many variables to say for sure if you will be one of the lucky ones IMHO...

I would be less worried on a newer truck

GM changed the head gaskets and torque specs

I don't think I have heard of any LBZ LMM headgasket failures

I've just wondered about that because I have seen some dmax's flogged pretty hard and the next has just an edge box and blown headgasket:confused: Maybe its the built on friday thing:rofl:

I ran twins on a stock intercooler and stock head bolts. No problems to speak of and my motor has been through some hell. I think with good tuning and twins you will be fine.

I have yet to see a link between boost and head gasket failure on the D-max . My stock studs held great to 60 psi , in fact they never had a problem untill i installed head studs and forgot to tighten 1 of the studs  , never stop for the night in the middle of torquing head bolts ;)

I would put them in one at a time while you think it's ok after you start to notice that you have a problem you'll have to remove the heads to put new gaskets on that's alot more labor
