Sorry to hear about the health scare with your dad, Tom; I hope it all turns out well. We had a similar event with my dad a few months ago. He's doing OK now, but he ended up with a couple of stents and a pacemaker.

Didn’t take the Landcruiser?
Not this time, but I'm sure we will at some point. I'm not sure I would want to strap a kayak to the roof of the cruiser though since it doesn't have a roof rack.

Well, Dad's surgery went well. Old stents looked good. Docs didnt find anything seriously wrong. He's just getting old. Should be home today sometime in the afternoon.

Thanks for letting me vent a bit.
Keep an eye on him if you can. My grandpa passed away from a stent being put in. He has surgery to put 3 stents in at 72 years old, all went good. 2 weeks later, hes getting ready to go fishing with a buddy and had a stroke. piece of plaque was dislodged from the surgery and slowly, made its way to his brain and caused the stroke. it was bad enough they couldnt stop the brain from swelling and he passed from it.

i know its not a common occurance but wont hurt to keep eye on him for a bit.

I'm going to be doing an easter BBQ with the family. No ones young enough for egg hunt anymore. And the kids are not yet old enough to start their own family so stuck in that middle ground with no easter eggs. So a BBQ it is. I picked me up a large cut of salmon to put on along with some asparagus

Worked on a LB7 over the past month. it was a side job i was asked to do prior to a career change im about to make. Truck needed injectors but the owner wanted to do headgaskets and studs as well. So everything came off, rebuilt and put back in. Its been 4 years since i jumped back into a dmax engine, it was actually kinda nice lol. Stock trucks are so much easier to work on :ROFLMAO:

Insurance let me keep the truck, wrote two part check, lien holder won't cash the check untill truck is fixed.. I'm sure they've been burnt more than once.. sucks for me but i understand the business point of view..
Hopefully get it up and running by fall..

Left my 1/2 impact on the back of my semi trailer at last stop and drove off🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

It was a DCF894 was rated 400/400 when I bought it in '18 the new ones are rated 330/600. Hopefully the sandbagged the numbers with the new one as well.. will buy another one
New one is a DCF891 rated at 600/800

And 2-6ah packs are currently 200 vs 280 or single 5ah for 130 normal 180
