I answered the guy's question. I don't think it is against the rules to give someone information they ask for. That's what the forum is for. I may be wrong, but I doubt I'll be banned. I'm also not sure why everyone likes to hate on DP.
I don't hate it I hate the censorship. I like the fact I can post there. I'm sure you will not be banned, but i would bet they delete the post. I know if you post good info here it stays no matter who you reference, I've seen them whack post mentioning this site.

I just read the rules, posting links to competetors is only allowed in technical post. They will remove the post according to rule 17. According to the rules you only get 10 points for posting a link, but they do have the option to ban if they want.
I will continue to read and post there, and I will try not to get banned, but i will watch that thread. If they delete the links I will probably stop posting anything.

Im tired of the DP bash threads. The current staff is not all that different from the old staffs from years past. If anything, this group allows links to other sites, which previous admin did not (and punished anyone who did (simon)). Take that for what its worth.
I haven't payed much attention to who was the trigger happy mod. Good to know that they have turned around. I have seen in the last 2 months a few post get deleted for suggesting someone read a thread here to get an answer to a question. Guess it depends on which way you address things.
I know that DP has mellowed out some, but randy the h"s"ack still needs to tone it down and try and be civil. He slings more insults over there than anybody else, but since he's a mod he gets away with it.
I believe that is not the case with Randy any more. I really expected trouble out of that thread. Originally I thought the op was trolling for trouble. Turns out everyone can play nice.
He went off on Ben just last week, and somebody else in OT as well. Radar came in and cleaned up the OT post that Randy went off in though, so you can't find it now.
He went off worse than that on somebody else after he did this one to you. Radar cleaned it up because a bunch of other members came in and pointed it out and said this is how the mods act to set an example. I noticed he wasn't on for a day or 2 after that incident though, so maybe he got a private reprimand for it.
And how many post have been deleted here from madmatt and othrgrl here in the past week or 2 ?? I understand why certain post are deleted, I also understand why I leave a lot of those post.
