TX of course
I got some magic additive when I first got my truck. It had good mileage results from a member that did some testing on DP. Worked great at first then during the first start up of the day while warming up my truck started dieseling regularly. It quit after I started adding 2 stroke out of concern and I have never used anything but 2 stroke, Bio, and a good anti-gel since.

As I see on that site, Randy the Hack has some money into that little thread. Every damn post that is downing the product Randy takes care of it. Nobody seems to get there order, and god forbid you put the product down.

You ever notice how many post he has in that thread, and how many "Helpful" things Randy has done for that TwistedLogic guy? It's all a bunch of BS. :thumb:

As always, my $.02.
Damn it must be a big block thing cause Im right there with ya. That Randy has sucked Twisted off so hard he bout chocked on a nut coming up. Anyways them two is the reason for my banning because I called out Twisted. He IS a scam artist as proven already with his new snake oil shit. Loosing orders however you may call it and for whatever reason is STILL bad business. Hes a wothless POS. Him Randy and their butt buddy Dave (supermod).

Pat you dont need 3 gallons dude. All you need is couple ounces and you have more power than 25 gallons of diesel! :spit:

I mean Goddamn go read that thread. That penis just differs questions to no end. Dude said he didnt get any gains then TL replies...did you change filter? Did you double dose it? Did you change the injectors? Did you service the trans? Lube the driveshaft? Take the bed off? Seats out? Vacuum interior for dust particles? Christ!

Only thing ive ever used for an additive was some 911. And on one of our semi trucks we do use an Antigel due to its tank heaters and such. But the winter diesel blend holds up just fine in our wisconsin weather for me.

because it has nitroglycerin in it. Same stuff used for heart disease and prostate cancer treatment/prevention in some cases.

Also very unstable and explosive when in its natural state, which he claims it is not mixed with anything but is a "special" form of nitroglycerin. I always though nitroglycerin was nitroglycerin.

Md pm'ed me and is sending me free product to change my opinion. I'll try it on a dyno since there biggest claim is performance.

Your trans warranty is null and void dude.:hug::D

I would imagine there are some violent addatives out there that will do somrthing, but not without a price. Don't we all want something special, but without adverse damage?
I will stick with my Primrose. It kicks as and after 30K my tank was so clean on the bottom you could eat off it.

haha, dont think I will have any warranty claims anyway Mike...66k on it and s crap load of passes and its still working nice. :thumb:

I have about 2 free hours on a dyno up here (from a trade) I've been needing to dyno a couple of my tunes so I think I will try it out on the dyno and see if I pick anything up. might as well right? Or are you guys thinking this stuff could be bad for our trucks? Im still thinking its going to compare equal to stanadyne performance....

Did anyone get the following PM for this twisted logic guy. I got this over on the DP, I never ordered anything from this guy, I have been following the threads however.

Hey guys - Finally caught up with the orders that were lost. I had to take care of the lost packages of the paying customers first, I hope you all dont mind.

I need your addresses once more. I found out the hard way how easy it is to erase your inbox on here. Ugh.

Also for those who did not get the messages I sent about wanting to try Monster Diesel, well this is your invitation here.

Please send me your address once more along with your truck info including fuel tank size, and phone number I can put on the ship label.

I will be shipping the samples out this weekend.

I apologize.

I told him id have no use for it, but gave him my address. Im not worried abotu giving him my address its plastered everywhere on the internet due to the farm.

So IIRC there was a 10% fuel economy gain he said at one point?? Well im at 46mpg with my TDI Jetta right now, so i should be over 50mpg with the monster stuff.

I think ill just put it on the shelf as a memoir.

Look guys, if you want to come into this thread and ask questions, that's fine. If you want to complain about your shipment getting lost, that's fine too I guess; after all, this is DJ's forum - what better place to communicate with him.

But if all you're doing is coming in to pontificate, pile on, cry, whine, etc... then you're going to earn yourself a warning... as a couple of others have tonight.

I strongly suggest that you guys read the site rules, as all of them are in play, especially the following:

* Users are only permitted to have one username on the site. Any individual attempting to login using multiple usernames, or providing fraudulent information for the purpose of deception may be banned from the site. Additionally, any individual attempting to discredit or attack the moderators, members, or Diesel Place itself may be banned.
* You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless this forum and their agents with respect to any claim based upon any post you may make. We also reserve the right to reveal whatever information we know about you in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by yourself.
* No excessive cheerleading, factionalism, or fighting permitted. If members make more than one negative comment in a thread we ask that you refrain from additional commenting. The additional negative comments will not constructively contribute to the thread in question.
* Vendors are only allowed to post in another vendor's thread, or a thread specifically started to discuss another vendor's product, when the post does not represent a conflict of interest. Conflicts of interest are determined by the staff on a case-by-case basis. In addition, at the staff's discretion, a post may be removed for conflict of interest based on the posting history of the involved vendors. The staff tries to maintain an understanding of the relationship of vendors both on and off line and will use this knowledge to remove any posts we deem to be a conflict of interest.
* No vendor is permitted to attack or excessively critique the efforts, ideas, theories, or products of other vendors. Vendors are required to maintain a level of professionalism on the board exceeding that required by our normal members. You are representatives of both your company and this board so please keep this in mind when posting. Vendors are afforded no additional privileges on the board and are required to comply with all of the site's general rules.

These rules are non-negotiable; they will be enforced... just like they always have been.

We are in the process of putting together quite a large compilation of the data etc. A lot of people wanted the msds and it was going to be done for viewing online but I pushed for it to be done immediately and that was done. Now as for the rest it will be available soon to the public. A small amount of people are working on getting the product to the market. I am covering the online distribution through buymonsterdiesel.com and I am setting up small retailers so they can sell it. Now if you are in Canada I can arrange to have you set up through me as a bulk wholesale (20 cases at least) and get them to a shipping point in the states. Whatever works. Pm me.

But all aside. Instead of waiting. Monster Diesel wanted to get the product out slowly along with the advertising for people to get a feel and word about the product instead of having people say "is it out yet???". There is a lot on the plate for the folks at Monster Diesel. Every one of them up there puts in 150% of their effort into everything. Even the new people there have been putting in that amount. One person 300% (I'm surprised if his bp isn't at least 200/120)
as for myself - i'm doing a lot more behind the scenes work than anyone can imagine

I for one don't understand all the bickering and fighting over this.

When i choose an additive you know what i do? I read the damn bottle before putting it in my truck. If your getting free samples, and you find something that you dislike when reading the back of the bottle don't use the additive. If you got it for free, how does it hurt you at all if you decide not to use it? It's that simple.

I didn't chase down the autozone store manager and beat him into a corner with a baseball bat because he didn't know everything there was about The Diesel Kleen i was looking at buying. That wouldn't make sense would it? I bought and used it on the good faith that it would do what it said, and it does.

So why does it make sense here? Why do you guys insist on chasing down the guy selling the product. DJ doesn't make it. He's posted what he's been given. If you want more info contact MD themselves.

I highly doubt DJ himself is hiding anything, and for that matter it seems the only thing that MD is not showing us is the trade secret in the MSDS. I wouldn't give that out either if it were my product. What do you guys want, a recipe with your samples/purchases? No smart company would do that.

I don't' understand the controversy over this either. Use it or don't use it. That simple. Everyone has an opinion, and your more than welcome to post it. Your not welcome to come in here swinging however, and that goes for any section here.

I got that pm too. I complained that shipping was too expensive to buy one bottle to test. After that I got the original pm from him saying he was going to send me a free bottle.

I guess we will see if it shows or not.

I already have some of xdp's additive to try too. I will probably end up sticking with stanadyne.
